Hiding validators behind ZK proofs probably changes the shape of all the little monitoring tools people rely on, not just the protocol itself. If the pubkey-to-identity link gets weaker, slashable behavior and operator coordination get harder to spot from the outside, so a lot of today’s node telemetry ends up needing an opt-in reveal path or some other witness.
