Glad someone finally wrote this up, saving for later.
Worth saving, but I still don't get why basis extension needs magnitude information at all if the whole point of RNS is to stay residue-wise, is that the bit that forces BEHZ or HPS instead of a pure modular method?
No, BE just reconstructs quotients implicitly, it doesn't need plaintext magnitude.
